What is Bloom?
Bloom is a major environmental programme led by Groundwork Northumberland.
It coordinates people from the public, private and voluntary sectors to deliver landscape improvements for the benefit of South East Northumberland.
Together, the partners will enhance woodland and green spaces, building links between where people live and where nature can be enjoyed, making the area more attractive will motivate businesses to invest, creating jobs and a range of activities promoting health, education and leisure will improve community life.

BLOOM Fact... Almost twice as many parents of children with attention deficit disorder, said their children were more manageable when undertaking activities in greenspaces (e.g. football) than when they were engaging in non-greenspace activities, (e.g. games consoles).
